Spritzer Cup 2009

The Cagers participated in the Perak Non Chinese Basketball tournament over the weekend in Menglembu, Ipoh. We sent the team for exposure and part of our program to prepare the Cagers 2010.

Cagers won 3 games and lost two. They lost to Manjung team (42:45) and Allsparks, the Champion (38:46). They won against MRSM Pasir Salak (50:2), STAR (38:18) and UTPetronas (35:26). They came in third and the best non chinese school team in Perak.

Five Cagers will participate in the Petronas Cup, National Non Chinese tournament, in Muar Johor next month, representing Pulau Pinang.

Yes, the Cagers are lucky to be able to participate in several tournaments. Being an all malay team, Cagers selalu kena jemput to participate in tournaments in Perak and Penang as an attraction. Tapi bila tengok Cagers main, everybody akan impressed.

Come to KK for a weekend and spar with the Cagers.

Tq for the comments.

The Cagers started playing basketball only when they entered MCKK. So by the time they are in Form 4/5, they only played for 4 - 5 years only. Not enough time to gain experience but they learned a good and strong basic skills for basketball.

When they moved on, they became a 'wanted' player for other teams.
